about us
Good News by People Like You!
The Upbeat Reporter is a Christian news magazine that focuses on local stories of good news, hope, and positive direction. By the grace of God, we are entering our third year as the essential inspirational outlet for our community. This quarterly magazine is written by men and women in the Texas Panhandle who love and serve the Lord. We believe when people are equipped, motivated, and passionately engaged in living out their faith in Jesus Christ they have the potential to be world changers.
This episode of the Upbeat and Beyond, Dr. Sheldon DeVries has a frank conversation with Mary Kay Kuhrts and Shree Veeramachaneni, Executive Director of Panhandle Behavioral Health Alliance (PBHA), a local organization that helps us all navigate the sometimes-rocky road of mental health and wellness.
